Broken Human – original song by Kendra Dantes | Studio Version

How to play "Broken Human" on piano, originally by Kendra Dantes

Here are all the notes, chords, lyrics, lead sheets, play-alongs, chord charts and MIDI files you could want to play this awesome song just like Kendra...

This song was inspired by the 6th book, “Tower of Dawn” from the “Throne of Glass” book series by one of my all-time favorite authors Sarah J. Maas.

This is the second song I’ve been inspired to write from this amazing book series. The first song was called “Rattle The Stars” which I enjoy performing on both piano and ukulele.

Here's Kendra's performance:

Lyrics for this original song:

VERSE 1:
Always have to be strong ‘cause all of them
Tell me I have to protect, to defend
So I put on my armor and my sword
To fight against the darkness and hope for more

CHORUS:
A ruined soldier for battle
But they don’t know what I’m thinking, what I’m thinking
So I hide it all under the mask
I’m creating as I’m dreaming
It was hard and the pain was everlasting
Leaving scars, leaving scars
Couldn’t feel, couldn’t heal the pain of falling apart
Far apart

VERSE 2:
Couldn’t move, couldn’t prove to myself that I was strong
I couldn’t last
Less and less, dwindling
Fading fast, fading fast

BRIDGE:
A broken human shattered on the ground
Can’t be found, never found
A broken human, shattered on the ground
Finally found, always found
